GPL will not be held liable for damages resulting from the act of an animal, homeowner negligence, the acts of others over whom GPL has no control or an act of God, including, but not limited to, strong winds, earthquakes, landslides, floods, freezing or other natural causes. Should damage be caused by any of these events, the warranty will be non-applicable.

The homeowner understands and agrees that it is their sole responsibility to adjust irrigation clocks and properly maintain and fertilize all plant material. Failure to properly maintain the premises and work completed by GPL shall constitute a complete waiver of the homeowner rights to this Limited Warranty, and any warranties provided herein.

The warranty shall be deemed void if homeowner fails to pay the entire unpaid balance due and owing within seven (7) days of substantial completion of contractor’s services. This warranty is non transferable.

It is important to assess plant material every few days after installation. Most plant loss can be prevented by timely professional intervention. Contact GPL with concerns regarding installed foliage so we can evaluate the situation to salvage the plant material.
We WILL NOT respond to a “dead list”. Without a reason for the loss, GPL will not be held responsible for foliage replacement. GPL does not warranty foliage based on visual appearance or dormancy.

Due to local soil conditions, Contactor will not be held responsible for spider web cracking, pinholes, hairline cracks, discoloration, efflorescence, etc. which are caused by hydration and characteristics of expansion and contraction of concrete. These are acceptable according to Concrete Industry Standards and since no method of elimination exists, are therefore, not covered in the warranty. GPL is not responsible for variation in color when matching existing concrete structures, masonry, pavers or concrete curbing.

Due to hard water deposits and the nature and composition of soil in the greater Las Vegas area, any landscape that requires watering will cause delaminating and effervescing of top materials and sealers. GPL shall not be held liable where these conditions exist. GPL is not responsible for movement in concrete, soil or wood structures or salt and mineral conditions of the soil below existing concrete surfaces, which can leach through causing coating erosion.

The warranty is limited to the replacement of materials. To obtain service under this warranty, the homeowner must contact GPL by mail or by phone. If a determination is made for warranty service, GPL will perform such service at a time agreed upon by the company and the homeowner.
